와이를 찾는 파이 개인정보처리방침

QuirkyGuyz(이하 "운영자")는 모바일 게임 「와이를 찾는 파이(Why?Pie)」(이하 "게임")를 이용하는 분들의 개인정보를 소중히 다룹니다. 이 문서는 게임이 어떤 정보를 왜 다루는지, 광고는 어떻게 동작하는지, 언제 지우는지를 설명합니다.
1. 다루는 정보
- 기기 식별값: 게임이 처음 실행될 때 무작위로 만드는 값입니다. 기기의 실제 고유번호나 광고 ID가 아닙니다.
- 게임 계정 정보: Google Play 게임즈 또는 Apple Game Center로 로그인한 경우, 해당 서비스의 플레이어 ID와 표시 이름.
- 직접 입력한 내용: 닉네임, 공유기를 찾았을 때 지은 와이파이 이름.
- 게임 기록: 판 칸의 위치와 결과, 찾은 공유기 수, 모은 잡동사니, 배터리 상태, 접속한 날짜, 하루에 광고로 충전한 횟수.
- 언어 설정: 한국어 또는 영어. 자동으로 만드는 닉네임과 와이파이 이름의 언어를 고르는 데 씁니다.
- 서버 접속 기록: 접속 시각과 IP 주소. 보안과 장애 대응에만 씁니다.
- 광고 관련 정보: 광고 서비스 제공자(Google)가 직접 수집하는 정보입니다. 자세한 내용은 아래 5번을 확인해 주세요.
이름, 이메일, 전화번호, 정확한 위치(GPS), 주소록, 사진은 수집하지 않습니다. 배터리 알림은 기기 안에서만 예약되며, 알림을 위한 정보를 서버로 보내지 않습니다.
2. 이용 목적
- 게임 제공과 진행 상황 저장, 기기를 바꿔도 기록을 이어가기
- 세계 랭킹 표시
- 부정한 이용(조작, 자동 클릭 등) 방지
- 광고를 보여주고, 광고를 끝까지 보았는지 확인해 배터리 충전 보상을 주기
- 게임 개선을 위한 통계 (예: 다음 날 다시 접속한 비율)
3. 다른 플레이어에게 보이는 정보
닉네임과 찾은 공유기 수는 랭킹에 공개됩니다. 공유기를 찾고 지은 와이파이 이름은 모든 플레이어의 화면에 표시됩니다. 개인을 알아볼 수 있는 내용은 넣지 말아 주세요.
4. 보관 기간과 삭제
- 계정 정보와 게임 기록은 계정을 삭제할 때까지 보관하며, 삭제를 요청하면 지체 없이 지웁니다.
- 맵에 파놓은 칸과 지었던 와이파이 이름은 다른 플레이어와 함께 쓰는 기록이라 남지만, 누가 했는지에 대한 정보는 지웁니다.
- 광고 시청을 확인하려고 잠깐 쓰는 임시 확인표는 1시간 안에 자동으로 지워집니다.
- 서버 접속 기록은 최대 30일 동안 보관한 뒤 지웁니다.

5. 광고
게임은 Google AdMob을 통해 보상형 광고를 보여줍니다. 광고는 배터리가 없을 때 이용자가 직접 "광고 보기"를 선택한 경우에만 나옵니다. 광고를 끝까지 보면 배터리가 충전됩니다.
- Google이 수집하는 정보: 광고를 보여주고 성과를 측정하고 부정 클릭을 막기 위해, Google이 광고 ID, IP 주소(대략적인 지역 추정에 쓰임), 기기 모델과 운영체제 버전, 광고 노출과 상호작용 기록, 오류 정보를 수집하고 이용할 수 있습니다. 이 정보는 Google의 방침에 따라 처리되며, 자세한 내용은 Google이 파트너 앱의 정보를 이용하는 방법과 Google 개인정보처리방침에서 볼 수 있습니다.
- 운영자가 받는 정보: 운영자의 서버는 광고 ID를 받거나 저장하지 않습니다. 서버가 받는 것은 "광고를 끝까지 보았다"는 확인 신호와 하루에 본 횟수뿐입니다.
- 맞춤 광고 끄기: Android는 설정 → Google → 광고에서 광고 ID를 삭제하거나 맞춤 광고를 끌 수 있습니다(메뉴 이름은 기기마다 다를 수 있습니다). iPhone은 설정 → 개인정보 보호 및 보안 → 추적에서 이 앱의 추적을 끌 수 있습니다.
- 동의: 유럽경제지역(EEA)과 영국 등 법에서 요구하는 지역에서는 광고를 보여주기 전에 동의 여부를 묻고, 동의하지 않으면 맞춤 설정이 없는 광고만 나옵니다.
6. 외부에 제공하는 정보
운영자는 이용자의 정보를 판매하지 않습니다. 로그인을 확인하기 위해 Google(Play 게임즈)과 Apple(Game Center)의 서버와 통신하고, 광고를 위해 Google(AdMob)이 위 5번의 정보를 수집합니다. 이 과정은 각 회사의 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다. 게임 서버는 운영자가 직접 운영합니다.
7. 이용자의 권리
언제든지 자신의 정보를 확인하거나, 닉네임을 바꾸거나(게임 안의 랭킹 화면), 계정과 기록의 삭제를 요청할 수 있습니다. 광고 설정은 위 5번의 방법으로 바꿀 수 있습니다.
8. 아동의 개인정보
게임과 광고는 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 알면서 아동의 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 그런 사실을 알게 되면 바로 삭제합니다.

QuirkyGuyz ("we") operates the mobile game Why?Pie ("the game"). This page explains what information the game handles, why, how ads work, and when information is deleted.
1. Information we handle
- Device identifier: a random value the game creates on first launch. It is not your device's hardware ID or advertising ID.
- Game account: if you sign in with Google Play Games or Apple Game Center, your player ID and display name from that service.
- What you type: your nickname and any Wi‑Fi name you create after finding a router.
- Game records: tiles you dug and their results, routers found, items collected, battery state, the dates you played, and how many times you recharged with ads today.
- Language setting: Korean or English, used to pick the language of automatically generated nicknames and Wi‑Fi names.
- Server logs: connection time and IP address, used only for security and troubleshooting.
- Ad-related information: collected directly by the ad provider (Google). See section 5 below.
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, precise location (GPS), contacts, or photos. Battery alerts are scheduled on your device only, and we send no information to our server for them.
2. Why we use it
- To run the game, save your progress, and keep it when you change devices
- To show the world ranking
- To prevent cheating and abuse
- To show ads and confirm that you watched one, so we can refill your battery as a reward
- To improve the game with usage statistics, such as how many players come back the next day
3. What other players can see
Your nickname and number of routers found appear in the ranking. Wi‑Fi names you create are shown to every player. Please don't include personal information in them.
4. Retention and deletion
- Account information and game records are kept until you delete your account, and are deleted promptly when you do.
- Tiles on the shared map and Wi‑Fi names you created stay, because other players share them, but the link to you is removed.
- The short-lived confirmation ticket used to verify an ad view is deleted automatically within one hour.
- Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.

5. Advertising
The game shows rewarded ads through Google AdMob. An ad appears only when your battery is empty and you choose "Watch ad". If you watch the whole ad, your battery is refilled.
- What Google collects: to show ads, measure their performance, and prevent invalid clicks, Google may collect and use your advertising ID, IP address (used to estimate a rough region), device model and operating system version, ad impressions and interactions, and error data. This is handled under Google's own policies. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
- What we receive: our server does not receive or store your advertising ID. It only gets a confirmation that you watched an ad and the number of times you did so today.
- Turning off personalized ads: on Android, go to Settings → Google → Ads to delete your advertising ID or turn off ad personalization (menu names vary by device). On iPhone, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and turn off tracking for this app.
- Consent: where the law requires it, such as in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we ask for your consent before showing ads. If you decline, only non-personalized ads are shown.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your information. To confirm your sign-in, the game communicates with Google (Play Games) and Apple (Game Center), and for ads, Google (AdMob) collects the information described in section 5. Each company's own privacy policy applies. We run the game server ourselves.
7. Your rights
You can ask to see your information, change your nickname in the ranking screen, or request deletion of your account and records at any time. You can change ad settings as described in section 5.
8. Children
The game and its ads are not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
